poniżej przekazujemy informację o trwającej rekrutacji na Letnią Akademię Biznesu i Praw Człowieka w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej i Azji Centralnej (The CEE&CA Summer Academy), która odbędzie się w dniach 21-27 września 2022r. (zajęcia i materiały w języku angielskim).
Letnia Akademia CEE&CA to pierwsza tego typu inicjatywa edukacyjna w regionie, otwarta tylko dla obywateli krajów CEE i Azji Centralnej, którzy są zainteresowani problematyką praw człowieka w działalności przedsiębiorstw – profesjonalistów oraz studentów ostatnich lat studiów. Celem Akademii jest zwiększenie świadomości w zakresie poszanowania praw człowieka w działalności biznesowej (BHR), a także przyczynienie się do stworzenia sieci ekspertów BHR we wszystkich sektorach w regionie. Uczestnicy będą mieli okazję uczyć się od jednych z najlepszych naukowców i praktyków na świecie. Organizatorami Akademii są Polski Instytut Praw Człowieka i Biznesu (PIHRB) oraz Ukraiński Narodowy Uniwersytet Prawa im. Jarosława Mudryi (Національний юридичний університет імені Ярослава Мудрого) we współpracy z Global Business Initiative on Human Rights oraz Międzynarodowym Komitetem Czerwonego Krzyża i Human Resources, CEEA Stowarzyszenie Praw.

It is with great pleasure that we would like to announce the launch of the recruitment (Call for Applications) for the first Central and Eastern Europe & Central Asia Summer Academy on Business and Human Rights (The CEE&CA Summer Academy), that will take place over 5 working days between 21-27 September, 2022.
The CEE&CA Summer Academy – the first of this kind in the region and open only to nationals/citizens of CEE & Central Asia Countries – is organized by the Polish Institute for Human Rights and Business (PIHRB; Polish: Polski Instytut Praw Człowieka i Biznesu) and the Ukrainian Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Ukrainian: Національний юридичний університет імені Ярослава Мудрого) in partnership with the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights and in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross, the CEECA Resource Hub and the CEE Business and Human Rights Association. The Summer Academy has also profited from the support and advice of the Steering Committee. The Summer Academy is also a part of a broader project ‘Lighthouse-keepers: Business and Human Rights Cooperation Network’ led by the PIHRB in partnership with the YMNLU, the Icelandic Association for Sustainability and Democracy – Alda and the Icelandic Ombudsman for Children. The project benefits from a grant under the Active Citizens – Regional Fund from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through EEA Grants, what together with kind support of other partners and individual scholars, allow us to make the participation in the CEE&CA Summer Academy free of charge for successful participants.
The CEE&CA Summer Academy is aimed at boosting Business & Human Rights awareness as well as contributing to seeding a network of BHR experts across all sectors in the region. We are proud to state that participants will have a chance to learn from some of the best scholars and practitioners in the world (List of Lecturers). The first three days focused on core BHR issues will lay ground for the participants to experience how to implement the UNGPs in everyday practice and operations, thanks to a workshop style of the last two days delivered by GBI and DIHR experts and company practitioners.
