Additional scholarship funding:

short-term study or placement trip of up to 14 days: additional amount for participant meeting the definition of ‘person with fewer opportunities’: EUR 100/trip,
short-term study or placement trip of 15 to 30 days: additional amount for a participant meeting the definition of ‘person with fewer opportunities’: EUR 150/trip,
In addition:
Persons with disabilities may apply for a separate grant to cover specialised costs related to their disability (caregiver assistance, rehabilitation, etc.). Separate application required, settlement of actual costs.
\Resignation before the signing of the financial agreement and payment of the scholarship has no consequences, so we encourage you to communicate your resignation as soon as possible to allow the student from the reserve list to use the place.
If a student resigns during the mobility before the end of the 3-month stay, the decision to return part or all of the scholarship is made by the National Agency. On the other hand, if the resignation occurs after 3 months, the decision is made independently by the PSW International Office. If the reason for resignation was considered significant, the student will be asked to return only the part of the scholarship that corresponds to the unused period of stay. If the reason was considered insignificant, the student is required to return the entire scholarship received, even if he/she has already spent part of the funds.
In case of cancellation of the trip, please:
- Contact the International Office(erasmus@powislanska.edu.pl) with an information about completing resignation form.
- Informing the host university of the cancellation of participation in the Erasmus+ program (if contact was made).
- If expenses were incurred (even if the trip did not take place), attempt to recover these costs. The attempt must be documented: a negative response or confirmation of the request made twice is required, with the address to which it was sent (print screen of the website, invoice or bill with email address). All costs must be supported by documents (invoice, bill and confirmation of payment). It is imperative that these documents be retained. If possible, please send their scans to erasmus@powislanska.edu.pl as soon as possible .
- In case of discontinuation of mobility already started, confirmation of the dates of mobility issued by the university/receiving institution (Confirmation of stay) will be additionally required. This will be the basis for recalculation of the Erasmus+ grant.
